2015 Event

Aces by the Bay 2015 Flyer

The Aces By The Bay event was held on the 15th of November which turned out to be a great day for all. The weather was supurb, Itchy Fingers supported by new sensation Rosie & the Mighty Kings beated out the tunes all day with a lot of Rock’n’Roll dancing.

There was a sea of colour with a great arrare of quality cars displayed throughout the indoor and outdoor areas, which some were fortunate to be presented with our new trophies on the day. We had plenty of Food and Merchandise vendor stands which enabled all to have a great feed and keep themselves entertained for the day. The Kid’s had a ball with excellent activities, colouring competition, face painting and getting special balloons made of your favoraite characters.

We had the crew down from Man Space displaying their new cool Bus which will travel the country side throughout the season, Shane Jacobson and Dan Ansty gave great presentations and give aways, we thank Harvey and the crew for their support and hope to continue our relationship in the coming years.

And finally the reason for holding such an event is to support our aligned charity, “Challenge” supporting kid’s with cancer organisation, who volenteered their services on the day with the event Raffle and BBQ. It not just the financial support we want to contribute but to spead the awareness of what this charity organization does for these kid’s and their families. Gary the events cordinator of Challenge gave a great speech of what Challenge is all about and what services they provide. We have had an excellent relationship with Challenge and are proud to be a supporter of their cause.

The Members of the Smokin’Aces wish to that all the Sponsors, Spouses, Vendors, Car enthusiasts and the public who came out and supported our event, which stayed out all day, and hope all had a great time. We will endeavour to continue our hard work to make this event better each year to set new standards throughout the car club event scene.
